Unstoppable Year with Bethany Hamilton – I WON!

Yes, you heard that right!

I entered and I won the Unstoppable Year with Bethany Hamilton! For those that don’t know, Bethany Hamilton is the surfer who lost her arm to a shark attack when she was 13. When everyone around her thought that meant an end to surfing and her dreams of going pro, she didn’t let that stop her. She got back in the ocean two weeks later and stunned everyone when those surfing trophies started to pile back up.

She never let anything stop her. She’s been an inspiration to many after the movie “Soul Surfer” came out about her journey, but she really took center stage after continuing with her dream, becoming a wife, a mother and someone who wants to spread love and kindness. She teaches others through her extreme commitment, her faith, and endurance that when we put fear aside, we can accomplish anything.

Now that I’ve given you a little background, I’ll explain how it came to be that I’m now on a journey for the next year to find confidence, release my fears, and let go of anxiety with Bethany Hamilton!

A few weeks ago at the start of the Coronavirus Pandemic, I came across a post of Bethany’s that she and her team were giving away 2,500 memberships to her Unstoppable Course. So of course, I had to check out being pumped after watching her documentary on Netflix.

For the last year and beyond, Adam, my team, and I have been working hard on developing my online course called the Unstoppable Year. This course is designed to empower you to live your Unstoppable life no matter what comes your way. We’ve seen lives dramatically change in a matter of months!

We believe this is the type of positivity that everyone could use in these uncertain times. So I’ve decided to give away 2,500 free memberships to my course as a practical way to help people rise to the occasion, overcome their obstacles and truly be present in this time of crisis!

I admit over the last several weeks the feeling of anxiety has literally brought to me knees, heck I was flat out laying on my stomach too with full-on panic attacks. Something I’ve never experienced before in my life and naturally, being the drama queen that I can be at times, I was sure I had to call the doctor and go in for COVID-19. I’m not making light of it at all for those that have been diagnosed, but for those out there who know the feeling, I’m sure can attest to the fact that when one comes on, it hits you like a mack truck and there’s not much you can do except breathe.

Again, I’ve said this in previous posts…I don’t carry the stress of anyone on the front-lines, I only have to work from home and care of my immediate family inside my house, but the fear of what’s happening on the outside of my walls quietly crept in when I wasn’t looking and took hold of my worst thoughts and twisted them.

Having an opportunity to learn Bethany’s tricks and skills was something I wasn’t going to pass up, so I entered and I won!

I’m now a week in, and have been joined by my oldest daughter on this 12-month journey and can’t wait to go through each module in hopes to really live my life instead of being fearful of it!

As I got through each module, I’ll make sure to post updates to the blog as I’m sure I’ll be learning some very useful things throughout this year!

Don’t worry, I’m sticking to my no spoilers rule, so even though I’ll be sharing my journey, I will not be sharing the course details here. The good news, I believe there are still some spots left if you wanted to enter! Check out her Instagram for more information and updates.
