Everyone complains about no time for self-care, including meditation but few are willing to take five minutes for silence even when you don’t label it and it’s causing harm to our minds and bodies.
We all could use some extra time for ourselves. I’m talking about quite time where it’s just us with time to open our minds and expand. Given even half a minute we’d see that our minds are so loud and busy during our waking moments that we often don’t know what to do when the world around us quiets down for a bit. We have a nasty habit of turning to our phones or computers to take the edge off, when really…all we need is silence and an open clear mind.
This book helped me focus on what’s really important and get back to basics. I’ve meditated over the years but never made put it on my calendar as an important to-do or meeting, but it’s just as important. I’ve learned to block out time for this exercise and I hope you’ll pick this book up and do the same!
You’ll learn the history of difference practices and arm yourself with tools to use when getting your mind right!
